Motherhood changes you. It does something different to you. Let's skip the goody emotional stuff and confront the part that no one wants to talk about. People mostly attribute every of our experiences to "the joy of motherhood." For example 'my baby has kept me awake through the night, three days in a row now. I feel like a zombie in a walking dead movie' They: "but that is the joy of motherhood." Right. To stay awake through the night and entertain them through the day. Add the house chores. Then rinse and repeat. For three days. Are you kidding me? Post delivery depression is real, so real for many moms. Forget that they still show up and shine teeth and act like they are put together, inside they have broken into different tiny pieces.  Most have lost themselves in the process. 10 weird things only mothers do.

1.Smelling your baby's bum to perceive for poop? Super weird but do you care? Not in the least! 2. Cleaning your baby's runny nose with your fingers or the inner of your shirt, top or the end of your wrapper? Gross I know. But would you ever do it again? Probably yes.  3. A quick dash to the mall with your baby involves packing two of everything-a change of clothes, diapers, pacifiers, rattles, toys, his favourite blankie, Baby combs, cream and jelly, wipes, Baby food, water and a carrier or wrapper.  4. Choosing to buy clothes and toys and pretty much anything your child needs, sometimes wants in favour of a new pair of shoes, clothes, toiletries, getting a mani-padi or switching that months long hairstyle you've been sporting for ages. 5.
